Head's Welcome

respect, honesty, kindness, generosity, perseverance, politenessconscientiousness

Dear Parents and carers,

I am proud to be the Headteacher of Walmley School and to lead a community wherechildren are truly at the heart of everything we do. It is a privilege to work alongside dedicated staff, supportive families and, most importantly, our wonderful students, whose attitudes and achievements make Walmley such a special place.

Our school is defined by its people. Our students arrive each day curious, kind and eager to learn. They show respect for one another, perseverance when faced with challenge, and honesty and politeness in their daily interactions. Just as importantly, they are happy in school and develop a genuine joy for learning.

Our staff play a vital role in this success. Their passion, conscientiousness and generosity of spirit shape an engaging and ambitious learning experience for all. Together, they have developed a rich and engaging curriculum that nurtures curiosity, builds strong foundations and encourages children to think deeply. You can find out more about what and how children learn by exploring our Curriculum pages.

We are proud of what our students and staff achieve and remain ambitious for the future. Our shared vision focuses on continually strengthening teaching and learning, developing our facilities and ensuring that every child is well prepared for the next stage of their education and beyond.

Everything we do is guided by our core values of respect, honesty, kindness, generosity, perseverance, politeness and conscientiousness. By working in close partnership with parents and carers, we create a nurturing and supportive environment where every child can thrive.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Walmley. I look forward to welcoming you to our school community.

Warm regards,

Mrs Lisa Naughton
Headteacher
